First Security Group organised blood donation day
First Security Group in co-operation with Dubai Blood Donation Centre (DBDC) of DHA along with Latifa Hospital organized a blood donation campaign at its Staff Accommodation, with many employees voluntarily donating blood for the Dubai Blood Donation Centre of DHA.
This blood donation campaign is one step within an ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility effort in supporting the community. FSG management emphasized the importance of participating in such humanitarian campaigns that contribute to saving the lives of patients particularly children with thalassemia, patients undergoing open heart surgeries or suffering from severe hemorrhages and victims of hazardous road accidents.
The blood donation day was organized on October 23rd, 2013, from 09:00am to 3:30pm at First Security Group Staff Accommodation. FSG organized a team to support all donors with the registration process at our offices located in the premises and all donors received complementary refreshments after their donation.
Apart from First Security staff, residents of other companies staying in FSG Staff Accommodation also took part in the blood donation campaign. system.web.security First Security Group intends to hold this activity every year and encourage all our employees and residents to be part of it.
In this event we consolidated both the health and voluntary work cultures and support patients who are in urgent need of blood.
